I'll pass ...

... on visiting "The Ledge" at Sears Tower. I live thousands of miles away, with both feet firmly planted on the ground, and it still makes me uncomfortable.

Yikes! That looks almost as bad as the one at the Grand Canyon.

I have stood on the glass floor at the CN tower in Toronto, but you're surrounded by normal floor, not out on a ledge like that. I still had to walk onto it backwards, with my hands on the shoulders of someone standing on solid floor. Not very logical, but it seemed to help!

I might have one up'ed you and tied a rope to a railing before walking out onto the glass part.

The only way I'd get onto any of these things is on my hands and knees, crying like a little kid the entire time! I'd rather peer down them, standing firmly on solid material. I don't care that the GLASS is an inch and a half thick!

I wouldn't mind going out on that ledge, but the elevator ride up there is whole other story.
