Pardon me while I burst into flames. I've had enough of the world, and its people's mindless games. So pardon me while I burn, and rise above the flame. Pardon me, pardon me ... I'll never be the same!
JtF ARKAIN, everything the liberals come up with they claim is one of the "spoils of the last election". If you haven't looked at the polls lately, the Democratic Party has seen their favorable ratings tank.
People want you to be responsible, not spend them so deep into debt that we become the United States of China.
in response let me quote Dick Cheney
Shortly before he was fired, [Treasury Secretary Paul O'neill] confronted Cheney about the Administration's latest proposal to cut taxes by another six hundred and seventy-four billion dollars over ten years, pointing out that the country was "moving toward a fiscal crisis." The Vice-President stopped him. "Reagan proved deficits don't matter," he said. "We won the midterms. This is our due."
Am I supposed to care about what Dick Cheney said?
I'm a fiscal conservative. Neither this administration, or the last one, made me very happy with their policies. This whole "mandate" or "due" or "spoils" is a joke. The only reason any of these yahoo's are in office is because the people put them there, and they are there to act responsible and like adults ... not the popular kid in the ground.
Spoils ... give me a break. They didn't win a war, they won an election.
(It's a ...)Micro World (... after all) (formerly known as Bio-Fuel!),is a blog dedicated to discussing pretty much whatever I feel like. When I delve into scientific matters it will primarily be discussing microbiology (agricultural, bioenergy, and environmental focus) and astronomy. Otherwise, I'll probably ramble on about sports.
Who is this joker?
Thomas Joseph
Professionally I am a bug hunter (aka microbiologist) and a gene jockey (aka molecular biologist). I started my career as a med tech, but now I'm a research scientist who studies environmental microbiology. When I'm not answering scientific questions about the roles that microbes play on climate change and/or water and soil quality, I'm an amateur astronomer and play racquetball. I'm also a sports nut, though my liking of both the NY Metropolitans (baseball) and NY Jets (football) tests my devotion to these sports on a continual basis. Fortunately, I'm also an OU alumnus (PhD, Microbiology) and we usually have a pretty good football team. BoomerSooner!
