Heh, having lived in Boston for the last 10 years, prior to which I never really followed football, I succumbed to the charms of the HoodieCheat.
But NOT the Red Sox. Yanks fan for 20 years! This year is real real sweet, regardless of whatever might happen.

Yeah, but when I started following the Yanks they went 67-95, for last place in the AL East. ANd this was before the Indians got good.
That's the heyday or Mattingly's bad back, Andy Hawkins 8 inning no-hitter that he LOST, and Wayne Tolleson at 3rd base (.381 OPS!). Gah, I just went back and looked at the roster stats from that season. I threw up a little in my mouth.
Nice game from the Jets yesterday. Rex has brought some big attitude to the D.
