Here she is ...
... one of several organisms my lab has putatively identified as novel. I have a name picked out for her, just need to finish the ubiquinone and DNA:DNA hybridization analysis to the next closely related type organism/strain and then we can get her published and named.

She's a beaut! Was this one you found during your field work or sent to you by a collaborator?
It was sitting in a reactor on a bench in our center for years. No one knew what was in there, all they knew was that it did what they needed it to do.
Go figure.
Nice, now you can have a naming party!
I already have the name picked out for this one! :) Actually, I'm strongly leaning in a particular direction. We'll see how it goes.
