I went to the prom my junior year. It stunk. I skipped it my senior year to run in our sectional track and field championships (200m, 800m, 1600m - a very strange combo, I admit). I don't regret it for a second.

This is retarded, hopefully the poor girl graduates and gets the hell out of Mississippi. Why the hell do pro-red state republicans who espouse freedom get so mad at homosexuals trying to go to a prom. I guess its only because they believe in the freedom of things and issues that they agree with. And way to go for the south, once again you earned that black eye. Maybe this is one of the reasons why I left.
