If the citizens of the United States suddenly were stripped of all their freedoms, Mr. Klein would argue that the cost would probably be too high to regain those freedoms? ... right here. At least where it pertains to the cost of freedom. I agree with his assessment that we're putting too much of a burden on our soldiers, and this is at least a factor -- if not the most important one -- in the increased suicides of those in our military. Where he runs off the rails though, IMO, is with this comment:
